The Alb Filter Nano offers highly effective protection against harmful microorganisms in drinking water. The hollow fiber membrane enables a good flow rate so that filling up with water is quick despite filtering. When traveling, the mobile system is super easy to use and quick. It comes in a handy case for transport.

With the coupling system included in the set and the high-quality GEKA hose connectors made of brass, water can be tapped from most sources worldwide. The system is 100% compatible with Gardena connections and approved for drinking water applications.

Filling filtering - suitable for you?

Pure filling filtering (i.e. from the water source or tap into your canister or tank) without further water purification is only recommended if your water supply is really spotless. It is no use filling germ-free water into a germ-infested tank or germ-infested pipe system - if you fill it into your drinking bottle from there, it will of course still be contaminated despite the filtering.

Furthermore, it should be used up quickly and not have a long shelf life. Tank systems cannot be kept sterile and if the water is standing, even a few existing germs multiply very quickly. Filling filtration is therefore very suitable for travelers who work with canisters for drinking water supplies. You can use the canisters and the filter on the move and transport both to the water source. The advantage in this case is that the filter is not installed in the vehicle, but can be used on the move.

How long does the Nano last

The service life of the filter cartridge depends heavily on the water quality. You can imagine it as a simple sieve - if there are a lot of large pieces in the sieved material, it will clog up more quickly than if it has already been pre-sieved. If the water quality is clear and there is a bacterial load, the service life is around 6 months. You can tell when it's time for a change by the slower water flow.
