Autoterm Air 9D (Planar 9DM) parking heater
Parking heaters from the Russian manufacturer Autoterm have made a triumphant advance in
self-made travel vehicles, boats and yachts. They are robust, reliable, durable and economical in use. They became known under the former name Planar. New name, same proven product.
The youngest member of the heater family: The Autoterm Air 9D with 8 kW heating power.
Suitable for large vehicles
The Air 9D far exceeds the heating requirements of normal campers. With vans or top-insulated expedition vehicles, you are better advised with the little brothers Air 2D with or Air 4D. The Autoterm Air 9D, on the other hand, is the perfect candidate for heating poorly insulated coaches or double-decker buses (many windows) or a boat up to 15 m in length.
The Air 9D can be regulated from 3.2 kW to 8 kW. This output is designed to heat up to 290 m3 of space per hour.
Control unit
The Simple Control Panel (former PU-5) rotary control unit is included with this item. The heater gets regulated by setting a power level. A sensor (item number 16522) with a cable length of 5 meters can be ordered separately for regulating the heater in temperature mode.
However, different control units can be used.
The OLED Control Panel (former PU-27) control unit has a digital OLED display and an integrated temperature sensor. The external sensor can also be used if the installation area of ??the control unit is not to be used to measure the room temperature. The control unit also has a timer setting.
Also available with Comfort Control Panel, which features even more heating modes, timers and language settings.
The heating function can be switched off on all control units and the heating fan can be used for improved air circulation.

Voltage
The Autoterm Air 9D is designed for connection to the on-board network with 12 or 24 volts. Please select the appropriate variant according to your vehicle.
This is the 12V-variant.
Diesel consumption
The heating power can be regulated between 3.2 kw and 8 kw. At the lowest level, the diesel consumption is approx. 0.42 l and at maximum output approx. 1 l per hour.
Power consumption
The Autoterm Air 9D consumes approx. 12 watts at minimum heating output, and 180 watts when set to the maximum level.
Air duct
9D has 100mm air intake and warm air outlet. Even if reducing this diameter is not possible for most air heaters, 9D can be operated with 90mm air duct. An adapter with item number 18080 is needed in that case.

Attention: The scope of delivery includes a fuel hose, too. This is suitable as a connection to rigid lines or connectors. If you shorten it to suitable pieces, the length is usually completely sufficient. If, contrary to expectations, the quantity is still insufficient, the fuel hose can be reordered by the meter under item number 35612.
