Autoterm auxiliary heaters for motorhomes - efficient heat for every adventure

Autoterm auxiliary heaters offer campers and motorhome owners a reliable and powerful solution for cozy warmth even in the coldest regions.

Heater plus installation accessories - everything you need with one click

A functional heating system in a camper consists of more than just the heater.

In addition to the installation kit with wiring harness, exhaust and intake pipes and tank intake, you also need a control unit for the heater. You also need a warm air pipe and air outlets, and ideally an installation bottle for thermally separated and stress-free installation of the heater. Depending on the method, T-pieces for the fuel line and fuel hose for connecting should also be included.

So that you don't have to laboriously collect everything individually, we offer you ready-made heating kits in addition to the bare heaters. They contain everything you need and you can get started straight away - everything fits together and you don't have to suddenly interrupt work for a week because a small part is missing.

Our kits are available with different heating outputs, namely

  • with 2kW heating output, which is sufficient for 99% of all campers (hence the name: 99% camper kit)
  • with 4kW heating output, which is only the perfect solution for 1% of campers
  • with 2 x 2kW heating output. This kit is the perfect all-in-one solution for RV travelers and vanlifers who want to travel in different climatic conditions and have a medium-sized room volume. With this variant, you can also enjoy full redundancy in the event of a defect. Would you like to find out more about this? Take a look at the article on the so-called Twin Kit in our online magazine.

  • For certain vehicles and installation situations, the kit provides you with the installation material suitable for this specific case, such as our kit for underfloor installation on the VW Bus T5 & T6. The kit for Land Rover Defender, on the other hand, includes a perfectly prepared cubby box elevation.

    Air and water heaters

In addition to Autoterm air heaters, we also offer water heaters. Both have different advantages.

Air heaters heat the room air directly and are ideal for quickly heating the interior. They are compact and easy to install.

Water heaters, on the other hand, work on a similar principle to central heating in a home. They are connected to the vehicle's cooling system and distribute the heat via a system of pipes and radiators instead of via warm air outlets. By being directly integrated into the engine cooling circuit, they not only heat the interior but also offer the option of preheating the engine, which prevents cold starts that are very wear-and-tear at low temperatures. This solution is particularly suitable for larger mobile homes or for those who travel in cold climates for longer periods of time.

Important: The right heating output for your vehicle

In any case, it is important to select the right heating output for the vehicle. You will also find valuable information for your considerations in the magazine article mentioned above.

    Self-installation made easy

Installing an auxiliary heater requires some technical know-how, but with the right instructions it is also possible for laypeople. We provide you with extensive information, which you can find in our Magazine and in the Auxiliary heater FAQ, for example.
