With our shade parker kit you not only get a super high-quality big tiger160 Truck Edition USB solar bag, the MPPT charge controller from Victron Energy is also included.
With the extension cable you can park comfortably in the shade of the palm tree and place the panel outside in the sun to generate electricity.
If there is no palm tree, the solar bag can also "shade" the driver's cab itself and keep heat out of the interior. To do this, simply attach it with the suction cups included in the delivery either outside or inside to the windscreen, protected from rain and theft! Solar bags are not waterproof and should therefore not be left outside in the rain. In this case, the best place is behind the windshield, even if you leave the vehicle.

MPPT charge controller from Victron Energy - connect once, done!
The shadow parker kit with the big tiger Truck Edition solar bag includes an MPPT charge controller from the proven quality manufacturer Victron Energy. Just watch our short video here on how to connect the solar bag and controller. This "initial installation" You only need to do this once - just store the charge controller with the cables connected in the big tiger's outer bag.
You can connect the charge controller to the VictronConnect app via Bluetooth to monitor the performance data of your solar bag and check whether you get more power if you change the location / orientation of the bag.
Connecting the solar bag to the vehicle
The connection to the starter or interior battery of the motorhome or camper is made via the cigarette lighter (this must of course not have an automatic switch-off when the ignition is turned off) or via crocodile clips, directly to the poles of the battery.
Attention during initial installation: The solar bag and charge controller must be connected once and can then remain so forever. Please note when connecting: The positive pole of the solar module is the pin that is NOT exposed! Please also watch the video below, from min 0:50!
