Gas can / jerry can for overland and off-road use
Our new gas cans are made for long-term use under the toughest conditions.
A patented and TÜV-approved material is processed to the highest quality standards in the Netherlands.
The cans are made using the rotational molding process with only one extra thick layer for maximum stability. A peeling between different layers is impossible. The material withstands long-term corrosive effects.
A specially developed closure with a fuel-resistant seal makes the jerry cans absolutely leak-proof.
Spout included.
Also available in other sizes and colors.
Designed AND produced in Europe!

Also note about the material:
Materials of water and fuel cans are different
The materials used in Overland Fuel's canisters are specifically designed for transporting water or fuel. We strongly recommend that you adhere to the appropriate intended use for the respective canister. Even if the materials seem very similar at first glance, their properties are different!
Overland Fuel Fuel and Water Cans FAQ
Stackable
Overland Fuel Canisters can be stacked on top of each other. We recommend not mounting more than two canisters together on one mounting surface on the vehicle.
When the canisters are filled, the weight is considerable. Please check the mounting surface for appropriate stability before attachment!
Water in fuel and fuel in water cans
We offer Overland Fuel canisters that are dedicated to transporting water or fuel. We strongly recommend adhering to the appropriate intended use for each canister. Even if the materials look very similar at first glance, their properties are different!
Do I need to vent Overland Fuel fuel cans?
Yes. Like all fuel cans, overland fuel cans must be vented reguarly. Fuels vaporise gases that build up pressure in the container.
Pay particular attention to the condition of the cans at high temperatures. The warmer it is, the more gases are released from the fuel!
Since repeated, strong expansion and contraction of the canister affects its material characteristics and stability, make sure to put the canister in the shade if possible and to vent it regularly, especially in hot weather.
Can Overland Fuel canisters expand and contract?
Yes, of course. All materials inherently expand because of thermal conditions. In addition, there is the expansion of the filled liquid.
This fact is taken into account as much as possible in the design and manufacture of the canisters. The way in which corners, indentations and surfaces are formed and the chosen material thickness, minimizes the movement of the material and thus effects on the material characteristics.
Furthermore, the canister material itself is designed accordingly. It's flexible enough not to break under impact and under rough use, yet stiff enough to minimize thermal expansion. The material has been TÜV-tested and, in the case of the water canisters, meets the requirements of the EU Commission for plastics that are intended to come into contact with food (does not apply to silicone seals and screw caps).
Overland Fuel canisters can therefore expand and contract, but the movement is reduced to a necessary minimum.
Can I use Overland Fuel canisters with my Rotopax mount?
Yes, Overland Fuel canisters can be combined with existing Rotopax mounting Systems.
Certificates and labeling?
For the transport of liquids - especially fuel/dangerous goods- there are different, country-specific labeling requirements. For example, certain embossing and colors may be mandatory for public road transport, ferries, etc. Please consider the regulations in your country or the countries you are traveling to.Overland Fuel does not have the RKK-/UN-mark and certificate. It does however have the "manufacturing timing"-stamp.
