Salt water resistant

This charging socket was originally developed for the yacht sector. For this reason, the charging electronics have a special coating to prevent corrosion, which can also occur in the area of touring vehicles, among other things, due to condensation. The lid is UV resistant and the hinge and spring are made of 316 stainless steel.

Design

Extra slim design for tight spaces.

The tight-fitting lid not only functions as a splash guard. It serves above all as protection against damage to the cable and socket. A protected socket makes a lot of sense, especially in the bed area, where pillows and mattresses are moved while the USB plug is still in the socket for charging. Also, a tip from the tiger team: the can can of course also be attached to the outside of the vehicle for an outdoor Netflex marathon. The obligatory fairy lights can also be easily connected.

Important:

The charging cable that came with your device (tablet, phone, action camera, etc.) must be used in order to get the maximum charging performance from this charging socket. Phones charge at the same rate whether on a 12V or 24V input system. However, a 24V system must be used to get the full 60W output suitable for fast-charging laptops.
