Smaller and lighter than conventional LiFePO4 batteries - this saves valuable payload and space reserves in your travel vehicle. Or conversely: with the same battery dimensions, you can now get a whopping 165Ah instead of, for example, 100Ah, and still save weight.

But that's not all: Double safety and optimized usage and storage possibilities make the tigerexped battery almost revolutionary.

Smaller and lighter than ever
Exceptionally high-quality cells and a special housing construction make an outstanding energy density possible.
 

Self-heating
When the typical LiFeP04 temperature threshold for charging is undershot, the tigerexped battery can recharge energy faster. Your devices in the vehicle can thus be powered from the battery again within a short time, not hours. Our cells are in direct contact with a heating mat, which is supplied with the first energy from a charge booster or other power sources starting at a cell temperature of 7°C.

Tested under real conditions in northern Sweden at a battery internal temperature of -38°C.
 

Particularly low self-discharge rate
Your tigerexped battery can withstand travel-free times much longer without taking damage or needing recharging. To achieve this, Bluetooth integration was deliberately avoided and a BMS with minimal consumption was used. As a special feature, the tigerexped battery has a switch on the housing - with this, the battery can be properly turned off. Leaving the vehicle for some time thus becomes much less stressful.
 

Double safety
To protect against short circuits and overloads, the tigerexped battery features not only a BMS/software-based protection. If a fault occurs with this, an additional protection is installed in the hardware, reliably disconnecting the connection and protecting you and your vehicle.
 

Communication with Victron GX devices
The convenience of Victron GX devices is almost indispensable in travel vehicles. If you want to take advantage of this, a full integration (DVCC) with our optional battery computer is easily possible.
 

Upgradeable
The tigerexped battery can be kept up-to-date with software updates via RS485.
 

Connectable in series
A series connection of tigerexped LiFePO4 batteries is possible up to 4 units / 48V.
 

Screwed aluminum housing
Robust metal housing, yet thermally separated by two completely independent layers.
