This flange enables the installation of 2 air heaters with 2kW in the floor or walls with a wall thickness of up to 90mm.
While an air heater is normally only suitable for installation in thin sheet metal walls or floors, this flange can also be used with an insulated floor structure with a wooden panel or directly with a sandwich panel up to 90mm thick. This eliminates the need to mark out and drill the many different holes for combustion air, exhaust gas, fuel line and fastenings - these are already integrated in the flange and allow the heaters to be installed directly. All you need is a rectangular cutout of approx. 213x130mm.
Procedure:
- Find a suitable flat installation location with a maximum total thickness of 90mm (e.g. floor panel + insulation + wooden panel).
- Cut a rectangular cutout 213x130mm
- Insert the installation flange with sealing compound and screw it in.
- Insert heaters into the flange from the inside and mount all hoses etc. from the outside.
Stainless steel, laser cut and welded.
Suitable for Planar air heaters 2D, as well as heaters with the same flange pattern from Eberspächer and possibly Webasto.
